100k100K fact box

The 100K distance is new from 2023. This race has an early morning start from the sports college Meråker VGS in the county center of Meråker.

Meråker vgs

The route follows Fersdalsveien via Litjfunnsjøvollen to Sulåmo and Nøstmo. Up Fersdalsveien, there is a relatively steady ascent, and in the first 9 km on asphalt, the course climbs approximately 300 meters. Asphalt is not the favorite terrain for trail runners, but uphill it doesn't matter as much. From the 9th kilometer, the road transitions to a gravel road, and after another 9 km, there is a beautiful terrain section leading to Litjfunnsjøvollen. Here, the hosts will welcome the runners and serve "the world's best spring water."

From Litjfunnsjøvollen, there is a nice, runnable trail down to Fersdalsveien again, and the final stretch to Sulåmoen and Nøstmo is on gravel road once more.

Nice runnable trail

From Nøstmo, the course continues for 8 km along the lake Feren to Guddingsvika. If the runners time it well, they will reach Guddingsvika just before the 70K runners start their competition!
