Coarse Description
0-30 km along the Fersdal road to Nøstmo
This race has an early morning start from the sports college Meråker VGS in the county center of Meråker.
The route follows Fersdalsveien via Litjfunnsjøvollen to Sulåmo and Nøstmo. Up Fersdalsveien, there is a relatively steady ascent, and in the first 9 km on asphalt, the course climbs approximately 300 meters. Asphalt is not the favorite terrain for trail runners, but uphill it doesn't matter as much. From the 9th kilometer, the road transitions to a gravel road, and after another 9 km, there is a nice terrain section leading to Litjfunnsjøvollen.
The first drink station is at Osbakken after little more than 9 km, and the first aid station with food is at Litjfunnsjøvollen (21 km).
From Litjfunnsjøvollen, there is a nice, runnable trail down to Fersdalsveien again, and the final stretch to Nøstmo is on gravel road once more.
From Nøstmo, the course continues along the 70K trail. See the 70K for coarse description.
