Do not forget to fully charge the phone’s battery before start. Tip: You can turn off wi-fi and bluetooth on your phone to save battery drainage.
Note: The runner must be reachable by phone at their specified number at any time 24 hours before, during and for 24 hours after the race. - Adequate supply of food and water (minimum 1 litre recommended)
- A food reserve of minimum 0,5 kJ or 120 kcal (recommended 1 kJ / 240 kcal)
Note: It is the runner’s responsibility to be self-sustained with food, apart from what is available at the aid stations, and the food reserve shall be in addition to this. - Survival blanket
NB: When the weather forecast indicates a possibility for adverse weather, the runners could be notified about additional requirements.
Please read the section about mandatory and suggested equipment for the 70K, 100K and 100M distances to see recommendations that could be just as valid for the shorter distances, depending on the weather conditions and the runner’s preferences, ambitions, experience, and physical capabilities.
