Transport

Transport from Teveltunet to the start of each race is included in the race fee. Please see further down for details about the bus schedule for each race. But first we consentrate at getting you to the race centre! 

Getting to the race centre at Teveltunet

Arriving by plane

If you are traveling by plane, you want to find a route that brings you to Trondheim Airport. From here, you either take bus or train to get as close to the race centre at Teveltunet as possible. Check out the tips below to find the option that is best for you. Of course, you may also consider hiring a car at the airport to have more freedom to move around during your stay. 

Arriving by boat

If you combine your trip with a cruise along the Norwegian coastline, you can arrive in the city of Trondeim by boat. Check the web sites of Hurtigruten and Havila for some options. 

Bus and train services

Apart from using private cars, bus and train services are the natural options to get to and from Teveltunet. Public services will get you either to Meråker or to Storlien, only 15 minutes’ drive from the race centre at Teveltunet. Reach out to the race organizers (mail to transport@mmctrail.no) to be picked up and taken the last stretch by car.

Contact the race organizers by e-mail to transport@mmctrail.no to arrange transport from Meråker/Storlien to Teveltunet. In most cases we will be able to pick you up by private car, saving you some taxi expences! 

 

Getting from the race centre to the start line

Locals provide boat services to the start of the 21K race

All races have transport services from Teveltunet to the start of each race on race day. This transport is included in the start fee. Please note the times for the transport services below, and make sure you are at the right place at the right time! Please contact the race organizers to make separate appointment if you want to climb on the bus somewhere along the route from Teveltunet to the destination. 

100K

Bus leaves from Teveltunet 04:00.

70K

Bus for runners: 07:00 from Teveltunet

Separate arrangements can be made for hikers - please contact race administration.

42K

Bus from Teveltunet 09:15

21K

Hikers: Bus from Teveltunet 10:00

Runners: Bus from Teveltunet 11:00

The runners have individual start from 12:00 and onward (time starts when you cross the start line), so there is no need for runners to take the first bus.

The 21K hikers and runners will be taken by boat across Fjergen.
